Rahul Gandhi Biography
Rahul Gandhi, the vice-president of India’s grand old party, the Indian national Congress is the scion of India’s most prominent political family. He is the 2nd highest ranked acting member of INC and also a member of parliament from Amethi. Being the grandson of Indira Gandhi and born to Rajiv Gandhi, Rahul always had politics in his blood but he never seemed very good at it.

The son of Rajiv and Sonia Gandhi, Rahul has an elder sister, Priyanka Gandhi. Though, Priyanka is not involved in active politics but the members of the party have constantly asked for her to assume office. She’s married to businessman Robert Vadra whose company has interests in Real estate. Rahul is also the cousin of Varun Gandhi, son of Sanjay and Maneka Gandhi.

Rahul has a perpetual presence in the media due to his speeches made in parliament or elsewhere. He has been trolled on internet and on social media for the statements he has made. The latest embarrassment happened when the Congress leader addressed students at Mount Carmel college. In order to shed his image of an inexperienced leader, Rahul has upped the ante against the incumbent government by raising issues like farmer suicides and mistreatment of dalits.
