March 3- Mughal Emperor Akbar defeated Bengali army at the Battle of Tukaroi, also known as Battle of Bajhaura. The battle was fought between Mughals and Sultanate of Bangala and Bihar. The Sultan of Bangala seized the Fort Zamania which was a frontier post of the Mughal Empire. This gave Akbar a reason for the war.
